Syok tengok they all membesar dengan baiknya despite hujan yg hari hari menimpa sampai ada anak anak pokok yg tergolek golek keluar dari tanah. Time ni la tension kalau nak membaja sebab rasanya habis air bawak.

Cherry Tomatoes and Petunia - Updates

Thanks to Diana for informing me that the flower plant is Petunia. I honestly don't recognize flowers except for lilies and roses. Sorry ok to those flower lovers! :)

Anyway the petunia which I bought before eid adha that day seems to be growing well. Alhamdullilah...makin besar dan makin banyak bunganya. But true like some of the tips given saying that u need to keep on picking all the dried flowers from the plant. And kekadang patah patah Kan sikit cabang dia. Baja I only pour air beras once a while and baja bunga once in two weeks. See...cantik kan bunga dia n wangi plak tu.

Yang di bawah petunia ni I tanam cherry tomato. Fat and seem to be growing well too also. Yang I planted else where all still kemetut. Think it's the medium that plays a role a lot in tomato growing. And this one, for fertilizer I put my usual taik cacing processed. Moga cepat lah berbuah yea..

All these seeds were bought from Ms Kebunbahagia. Hari ni just semai 9 jenis dulu sebab nanti jenuh nak memikir tempat nak letak bila dah bercambah...hmm think belakang rumah luar memang nak kena utilised la nampak nya..

Anyway, let's see the rate of these seeds germinating using this type of medium. Hopefully, all will be successful.

Fresh From Falraisi's Garden

First tuaian..sawi Hong Kong and spring onion. Excited giler masa nak cabut. Sayang pun ada. Hahaha...

Anyway think not long they will be too much for us to consume. Rasa will give away to jiran jiran la nampaknya.

Timun Dah Berbuah

Yahoo!! Finally the cucumber yg tanam dah berbuah. Yg ni timun biasa aje. Hari tu ada beli seeds timun marketmore dari kebunbahagia and akan di semai tak lama lagi. Timun ni pun I letak mol pisang yg di buat few weeks ago. Cuma musim hujan ni rasa cam tak berbaloi letak bajakan...

Anyway grow well ok Mr cucumber!

Ketumbar Jawa dan Halau Nyamuk

Baunya sama macam ketumbar tapi sebab rupa tak sama rasa takut plak nak guna macam ketumbar biasa cam jumpa kat market. Bila googled jumpalah khasiatnya yg pelbagai rupanya...tapi belum di test lagi. Rupanya camni

Yg ni I think ramai yg dah tau..Pokok halau nyamuk. Ada bau gaklah sikit..nak tengok betul tak nyamuk tak suka sebab maklumlah bila dah banyak tanam pokok ni mulalah ada yg nak buat rumah kat situ.

Today I had the chance to meet the owner of the blog kebunbahagia - Ms D and I presumed her hubby n kid with her. To self collect my seeds and was surprised with the amount of freebies which she gave away to me. And salah satu is the beloved akar som! Cinnamon Plant, Pecah Kaca n Sawi Hong Kong

As usual yesterday's pasar tani's hunt...a cinnamon plant. According to the pakcik this plant has so much health benefits such as the leaves can used to treat tummy upset, cleanse women's inside, cleanse whatever toxin accumulated in the digestive system etc. Just take few leaves n put hot water..let it seep for 10 minutes then drink in morning.

The balk is as usual la to be used in cooking n also if got gatal gatal or skin problem, just scrape some of the balk n put on skin. Tapi the balk can only be harvested after the plant is one year old. So kena tunggu la dulu.

Yg ni plak Pecah Kaca or Pecah something..I pun tak sure. Pokok my mom yg beli cos according to the pakcik meant for treatment of kecing tak lawas. Ada yg kata untuk treat kencing ada batu. Wallahualam..

And, saje nak add, my sawi Hong Kong yg gemuk gedempol n dah start berbunga..tak lama lagi masuk kuali :)

                     

Cerita Lari Topic

Few days already didn't get chance to write about my growing garden eventhough kerja kerja menyemai masih berjalan secara slow. Maklumlah...hubby ada for two weeks so too many things to do to entertain him etc etc etc.

Anyway, cerita today lari topic sikit sebab saje nak cerita pasal satu Arab restaurant that we went earlier today to have lunch.. Nice restaurant. Kind of porsch looking as u enter with all the decorations and decorative ornaments. Memang nampak mewah la. This restaurant kat area Kajang just by the side of a Tol house near Sg Ramal Luar. Tak sure plak nama area tu exactly. Restaurant's name is Al Diafah.

Ingatkan harga pun akan mengalahkan Tarbush dan seangkatan dengannya tapi I think the price is quite reasonable. Cuma my hubby kept on mumbling kata kalau kat negara dia..makan mixed grilled set yg dia order will not exceed 50-60rm in which this restaurant charges about Rm105. Anyway meh kita tengok gambar makanan plak. Yum yum n seriously fresh.

Buat Taugeh Tak Jadi

Hari ni panas tahap maximum. Agak nya sebab semalam hujan whole day kan. So tak banyak yg rasa nak buat outdoor.

Anyway checking on my taugeh yg I dah semai 2 days ago. Think I made a mistake by putting too much of the green beans inside that tupperware so now the grow is not even..ada yg panjang ada yg kemetot tak membesar.

Nanti ada chance nak try buat lagi in a more proper way. Trial and error la.kata kan....

White and Red Roses Blooming

Just want to share some pictures of the two roses plants I got two weeks ago. Flowers are blooming prettily and think once the red roses stalk reach certain size, I nak buat keratan baru. Cantik kan...especially yang putih ni.

Kebunbahagia Ginseng Jawa n Batang Sayur Manis

Thanks to Diana from Kebunbahagia. Her baby ginseng jawa is surviving and looking ok somehow after terkulai layu at the beginning. Betul cakap tukangkebun...Terkejut ngan tanah baru kot :)

Kiri basil n kanan is ginseng Jawa. Both from kebunbahagia. The rest tu kobis and daun bawang.

Anyway, keratan batang sayur manis pun dah keluar pucuk. Somehow yg letak dalam bekas isi air hujan lagi nampak promising dari yg cucuk direct to tanah. Ok apa apa pun tak Lama lagi bolehlah makan sayur manis masak lemak ngan laju, ikan panggang and sambal belacan. Hmmmm...yum!yum!
