Yesterday while googling about roses n flowers I came across this blog on plant suckers that came about from grafted techniques. It seems that if roses are grafted there might be some dormant suckers from old host plant that might just spring to live and if this sucker is allowed to live then there is a potential that the grafted rose will die.
So dok belek belek my white roses and wondering why somehow the flowers are getting smaller and fall off very easily when touched I realised that there was this one long shoot jutting out happily from the bottom sand. Guess what...no buddings or flowering!! Ahah..apa lagi dug it out n pulled it out. Siap berakar lagi...

Kat red arrow tu lah dia keluar |

Lepas cabut. Panjang kan! Almost 5 feet tall |
|
berakar dah tengok |
Hopefully it won't affect the grafted rose la sebab yg ni wangi sangat bunganya.. tengok kecik camni pun wangi sangat.

White roses yg wangi sangat. Tengok kecik aje sikit bunga dia. |
After cabut I put some rose fertilizer. Harap the pulled roots won't create so much damage to the tree...insyallah.
